The ladies of Rainbow Acres enjoyed a Think Pink Tea Party this week in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Our Health & Wellness staff hosted the festive event for the Ranchers.
The lobby of the Health & Wellness Center was all decked out in pink decorations and so were the Ranchers in special t-shirts along with pink ribbons and party favors for all. Ranchers were treated to an English Tea, complete with finger sandwiches and pink ribbon cupcakes. Staff offered information on early stage breast cancer and signs to watch out for, healthy habits to live by, and Tina the Teddy Bear was enlisted to demonstrate best technique for self-examination.
