Admissions Manager – The Admissions Manager will be a seasoned professional with experience in admissions in the healthcare industry or working with adults with disabilities. The successful candidate will guide families of neurodiverse adults in a very important life season. Successful guidance brings residents to realize their potential and fulfill the mission of Rainbow Acres. He/she is responsible for determining the target market(s) and the achievement of census goals. This position manages Rainbow Acres’ inquiry and admissions process and provides customers with facility-related information via tours, personal visits/assessments, conversations, and follow-up. He/she coordinates with all departments to ensure a smooth transition process for new residents.

Caregiver – Caregivers have primary responsibility for providing the highest quality of care to enhance the quality of life for the Residents/Ranchers of Rainbow Acres. In fulfilling this mission, the successful Caregiver will utilize all the programs, services, and resources of Rainbow Acres efficiently; participate in annual goal setting with Health & Wellness, Learning Center, and Vocational Directors/Coordinators; and then review and monitor each Rancher’s progress toward fulfilling those goals.

Outreach Manager – The Outreach Manager is responsible for strengthening Rainbow Acres’ visibility, relationships, and community engagement through strategic outreach initiatives. This role focuses on building and maintaining partnerships with churches, community organizations, volunteers, donors, and referral sources to advance the mission, support admissions, and grow philanthropic and volunteer engagement. Evidence of a strong Christian commitment and alignment with Rainbow Acres’ values is essential.

Cook – Primary responsibility is assisting in the preparation, seasoning, and cooking of meals. Oversees the kitchen crew members when the Culinary Manager is away, ensures the delivery of meals and supplies to ranch homes. The Cook works with the Culinary Manager and the kitchen crew to ensure the timely checking in of all food deliveries for quality and quantity as well as the timely storage of all incoming food deliveries; organizing the walk-in coolers in a manner that ensures the availability of all needed supplies by the kitchen staff.

Housekeeper – The housekeeper ensures a clean and sanitary environment for residents, employees, and the public. He/she promotes sanitary conditions which prevent the spread of infection and odors. The Housekeeper is responsible for following the required procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing, or moving of objects/materials and/or the clean-up of blood, infectious materials, or body fluids containing blood in accordance with the OSHA Blood-borne Pathogen Standard or Rainbow Acres Exposure Control Plan for Blood-borne Pathogens.

Hiring Process

  • Pass the following requirements to our satisfaction:
    • Thorough reference checks
    • A background check that may include verification of prior employment, education, criminal records, motor vehicle, and license records
    • A drug screening. Rainbow Acres is a smoke-free, drug-free workplace, including, but not limited to, tobacco and marijuana. Random drug testing is conducted regularly.
    • Qualify for and obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint clearance through the State of Arizona
