Music Educator – The Music Educator will lead all aspects of the music program.

Caregiver – Caregivers have primary responsibility for providing the highest quality of care to enhance the quality of life for the Residents/Ranchers of Rainbow Acres. In fulfilling this mission, the successful Caregiver will: utilize all the programs, services, and resources of Rainbow Acres with efficiency; participate with Health & Wellness, Learning Center, and Vocational Directors/Coordinators in annual goal setting, and then reviewing and monitoring each Rancher’s progress toward fulfilling those goals.

Integrated Animal Science & Horsemanship Educator – The Integrated Animal Science & Horsemanship Educator is responsible for teaching horsemanship, equine safety, and riding skills to residents of all levels, fostering therapeutic experiences through both classroom instruction and hands-on animal care.  The educator is consistently seeking innovation and improvements to deliver a world-class program.  This role includes supervising and instructing residents in the care of horses and other livestock or domesticated animals, managing animal health and training, and maintaining safe, clean environments.  The position provides cares for the well-being of all of the animals on the Ranch, including feeding, grooming, exercising, and assisting during veterinary and farrier appointments as needed. The Educator works collaboratively with the Education Team to develop curriculum, oversee residents and volunteers while promoting a culture of safety, empathy, and teamwork.

  • Pass the following requirements to our satisfaction:
    • Thorough reference checks
    • A background check that may include verification of prior employment, education, criminal records, motor vehicle, and license records
    • A drug screening. Rainbow Acres is a smoke-free, drug-free workplace, including, but not limited to, tobacco and marijuana. Random drug testing is conducted regularly.
    • Qualify for and obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint clearance through the State of Arizona
