Current Openings

Director of Advancement – The Director of Advancement is responsible for the oversight of the admissions function and all fundraising activities.  This position also oversees development operations and services, including prospect and donor tracking and management and donor stewardship.  In addition to overseeing and managing the development function, the Director of Advancement oversees Rainbow Acres’ external marketing (print/web/social) and maintains his/her own portfolio of high-potential individual and institutional prospects and donors and supports and partners with the CEO in his/her fundraising activity.  As a member of the Senior Management Team, he/she participates in the strategic planning process and the achievement of organizational goals.

Staff Nurse (Full-time or Part-Time) – The Staff Nurse plays a critical role in the enhancement of each Resident’s life.  He/she is responsible for monitoring our Residents’ health along with the utilization of personnel, programs, services, and resources of the Ranch with efficiency.  The Staff Nurse works with other team members to ensure each Resident is working toward meeting annual goals and maintaining the best health possible. These goals may include physical, mental, social, functional, vocational, and spiritual goals.

CaregiverThe Caregiver, a safety-sensitive position, is to provide the highest quality home care to enhance the quality of life for the Ranchers of Rainbow Acres. We start at high wages for experienced caregivers, but previous experience is not required. We provide on-the-job training and 4 days off every week. Apply today!

Hiring Process

Quality of care, trustworthiness, and safety are the hallmarks of Rainbow Acres. Prior to hiring, each prospective candidate will be required to:

  • Pass the following requirements to our satisfaction:
    • Thorough reference checks
    • A background check that may include verification of prior employment, education, criminal records, motor vehicle, and license records
    • A drug screening. Rainbow Acres is a smoke-free, drug-free workplace, including, but not limited to, tobacco and marijuana. Random drug testing is conducted regularly.
    • Qualify for and obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint clearance through the State of Arizona
