I understand my responses will be checked through a thorough background and reference check system. I give Rainbow Acres Volunteer and/or Human Resource Coordinator my permission to check my references and to submit my name to a National Criminal Records Check system (and other agencies as warranted). I understand the findings will be kept in confidence.
I further understand my references will be granted confidentiality and will be asked specific questions about my abilities and character, as well as questions about any known criminal history or history of sexual or child abuse. I also understand follow-up questions may be asked of people I did not list as a reference. I hold both my references and Rainbow Acres harmless from further action on my part should negative references surface and should I not be chosen as a volunteer.
