Good care is rarely the work of one team alone. At Rainbow Acres, our own Health & Wellness team carries an enormous share of it. In 2025, the team managed more than 350,000 medication check-ins, supporting 83 Ranchers with personalized care and daily wellness routines, including approximately 919 scheduled medications each day. On-site primary care served nearly 70 Ranchers, and Ranchers had access to three local counselors.
Alongside that in-house care, we work with partners beyond the Ranch who help us meet specific needs. Here are three of them.
Speech Services Through Northern Arizona University
Rainbow Acres offers no-cost speech services through Northern Arizona University. Communication is part of how each of us connects with others and moves through daily life, and this partnership means the cost of that support is not a barrier for the Ranchers who benefit from it.
Psychiatric Support Through Spectrum Healthcare
Caring for the whole person includes mental and emotional health. Rainbow Acres provides psychiatric support through Spectrum Healthcare, bringing that specialized care to the Ranchers who need it.
A Specialized Pharmacy Partner
Medication is part of daily life for many Ranchers, as the numbers above make clear. To support that care, Rainbow Acres works with a specialized pharmacy partner focused on developmental disabilities.
